Situated on an island shaped by unique weather patterns, I work outdoors in a fertile and dynamic ecosystem. I create intimate watercolours, wall size abstract paintings, and larger hanging pieces that incorporate the amalgamation of drawing, painting, and origami and are evolving into installations.
Giving agency to my materials as conduits of guidance through an ongoing dialogue with my surroundings. Cosmic forces join me in the studio conjuring spiritual alignment resulting in ethereal geometry, tangible hope, and moments to reflect on. Painting, for me, is an act of survival, discovery, and reciprocity.

"I want to acknowledge that I live on the island of Maui, which is stolen Native Hawaiian land. I recognize the enduring presence of the 'Ōiwi (Native Hawaiian) people and their deep connection to the 'āina (land).”
